I should have read the reviews about installing the Linksys software. Do not- I repeat, do not use the Linksys software when installing this network card. Follow the advice of reviewers cpyao and C. Farrah and make sure to insert the card first before adding drivers. Then once windows prompts you for driver location, select the CD-ROM drive where the CD is located. Use windows to configure the wireless. I had to learn the hard way and spent quite some time trying to get a smooth install. After the installation, the network card has been working quite well.

I received this product new and in very good condition. PLug it in the wall, set it up and it's been on from the very first day I got it. No problems at all. Never been turn-off to the day. I finally concluded to rate Amazon.com five square for the promptness, speed, no hassle and the quality of this product. thank you to all the Amazon team who makes it all possible..they are the best...

The WEC600N is a better and more expensive Wireless-N Card.
The WPC600N is OK and causes range problems, even more problematic than some of the Wireless-G cards I currently have on other Notebooks.
But for the price, it's worth the try.

Received this card and installed it easily and quickly (I'm in no way a geek).
This card interfaces with my D-LINK N Router. It runs @ 130MB (versus the 50Mb of the G internal card I was using). It also has a extended range so enables me to work much farther away from the router.
I am very pleased with this card. It performs as advertised.

Please, don't lose your money and time buying this trash.
It doesn't work, it doesn't support 802.11n as it says, installing the software on XP is a nightmare and Linksys support is a joke. The latest driver version available for this model is from 2007!!! So, it cannot be a serious product.
It's the 2nd (ans certainly the last) time I buy something from Linksys and it doesn't work.
Don't be tempted by the low price. Buy something that really works.
I'm already returning it.
